 Finishing technique

Every attacker wants to help his team win the game by scoring a goal, therefore he must acquire techniques and tips to finish the attack that his teammates started. This is known as finishing technique.

Because this is a "technical" activity, we must concentrate on the game's technical features. Each coach can tailor practice to what he wants to get out of it.

Technique:

Description:


As you can see in the picture, we start on one half of the field and end on the other.


We begin by moving the ball from one half of the pitch to the other, paying particular attention to how players receive it. The ball must be controlled throughout the player's entire body. The player dibbles along the line and center the ball to the forwards when the ball reaches the opposite side.


Rotation: Follow your pass : 2-3-4-6-7





Take care to the following:


How players hold the ball, and how they must receive it on the inside and across their bodies.

When a player asks for the ball, they should arrange their body in a certain way.

Coaching Points: I pay special attention to how players position their bodies, make their controls, and strike the ball when I execute this exercise.
